LoL Nexus Blitz 2023: Everything You Need To Know!

To start off first introduced in the tempestuous times of Season 8, Nexus Blitz was an instant hit. The community's reaction was static, with players diving headfirst into the new mode Nexus Blitz. Riot Games, always with a keen eye on data insights, noted the mode's popularity and brought it back with a bang in Season 10. The changes made in 2021, especially concerning Events & Rewards, were met with a mix of applause and critique, showcasing the mode's dynamic evolution.

League of Legends has introduced numerous rotating game modes over the years. The 2v2v2v2 Arena, for instance, was a roaring success, so much so that Riot is contemplating its return in the near future. However, not every mode has been a crowd-pleaser. Nexus Blitz, was some where in between and Riot has said that when they needed feedback to make the game mode better and for it to be returned in the future with nessessary changes to hopefully please the player base of League.

What is Nexus Blitz?

Nexus Blitz Whole Map

Dive into a returning game mode that's as perplexing as it is exhilarating. With matches typically lasting around 15 minutes, players can choose their lobby: Lane or Jungle. The map layout is a burst of creativity, featuring a Mid lane, Bot lane, and intertwining Jungles. A visual representation of the Nexus Blitz 2023 map is a sight to behold, a testament to Riot's dedication to the mode.

How Does Nexus Blitz Work?

Nexus Blitz offers a Draft Pick gameplay, with matches wrapping up in a brisk 15-20 minutes. When you're in the lobby, you've got three choices: Lane, Jungle, or if you're feeling flexible, Fill. Out of a team of five, two will gear up for the Jungle (don't forget your Smite!) while the other three hit the Lane. The battlefield? It's split into two main lanes: Mid and Bot, each flanked by its own Jungle.
